November Was a Busy Month for Crypto Events!

Crypto events were buzzing in November! On November 3, Francesco Agosti, one of the minds behind the popular Solana dapp, was interviewed at 0xpo Crossroads in San Francisco by Decrypt’s Jason Nelson. During the interview, Agosti discussed the history of Phantom and what he is looking forward to in Web3.

Meanwhile, in Lisbon on the same day, Kathleen Breitman, co-founder of the Tezos blockchain, was talking at Web Summit about how the Tezos blockchain has used a proof-of-stake mechanism since its inception, her admiration for Tendermint, Ethereum, and sharding, progressive decentralization, and NFT gaming with Decrypt’s Stephen Graves.

Fast forward to November 3, and at the 0xpo Summit in San Francisco, a panel was discussing raising venture money even during Crypto Winter. Clay Robbins of Slow Ventures, Soona Amhaz of Volt Capital, Sarah Guo of Conviction and formerly Greylock, and Alex Strzesniewski of AngelBlock all joined Decrypt’s Jason Nelson to discuss the topic.

Finally, on November 30, the inaugural Crypties Awards from Decrypt Studios in Miami honored Bored Ape Yacht Club as NFT Project of the Year. Illa Da Producer accepted the Cryptie on behalf of Yuga Labs from presenter Alanna Roazzi-Laforet. The other nominees for the award included Axie Infinity, Decentraland, and Gods Unchained.

All in all, it was an exciting month for crypto events! From Francesco Agosti being interviewed at 0xpo Crossroads to Kathleen Breitman speaking at Web Summit to the panel discussing venture money during Crypto Winter to the Crypties Awards honoring Bored Ape Yacht Club, the crypto world had plenty to talk about.
